As a person living/ working in Calgary, Ab, Canada, I acknowledge the ancestral & traditional Indigenous territories of the Blackfoot, as well as the people of the Treaty 7 region in Southern Alberta. This includes the Siksika (Blackfoot), the Piikani (Peigan), the Kainai (Blood), the Tsuu T'ina (Sarcee) and the Stoney-Nakoda First Nations.
The City of Calgary is also home to the Metis Nation of Alberta, Region III.
